A Magician Steps Out

When A magician steps out in front of an audience,whether it be a street magic performance or stage performance he does so as an entertainer. The fact that he's a magician is entirely secondary,from the view point of his spectators. Of course,they are there to see a magician. But overall they are really there to be entertained, and magic just so happens to be what they are looking for. Now reality is in a lot of cases they just want to be " get ready for it " Entertained...

Now, thats not an unreasonable request...is it? After all if you were in their shoes I'm sure you would expect the same thing. But I'm going to tell you right now, I believe anyone can be greatly entertaining...Given the right tools,hard work and dedication. It also helps to have a passion for it.

Which I am sure you do or you probably wouldn't be seeing this blog...
The purpose for this particular blog,or should I say ongoing blog. Is to help my fellow magicians to get on the right path. Now I am no guru, nor claim to be... But I have been in this business for many years, and I know what works and what is crap. All i am doing is trying to give back to the very thing that has given me so much.

And this is how I propose to do it... And you lucky folks, who are fortunate enough to read this blog regularly. Will earn the right of passage, to all the research, tips, techniques that I have been using in my own very profitable and enlightening career.

My hopes when time permits, Is to give all of you. A good understanding of the real art of magic. And the steps that need to be taken to be a great performer... Along the way, I will post Reviews on certain effects hitting the market, I'll post videos, and give you my honest recommendations, and trust me I've bought many products throughout the years. A lot of junk...But as time went on I got smarter, and now have an arsenal of killer effects and routines which I will share with you soon.
